2026 Baseball Summer Clinics (Age 8-12)

Step Up Your Game at the ABSA Summer Baseball Clinic - Register Now!

Dear Parents and Young Athletes,

We're excited to announce that the Algonquin Baseball and Softball Association (ABSA) is partnering again with the Runbirds baseball program to host Summer Baseball Clinics designed to elevate your player's skills on the diamond! This is an exceptional opportunity for young players aged 8 - 12 to learn, practice, and perfect the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and engaging environment.

Summer Clinic Highlights:

Dates: Session 1 (July 27 - 30) | Session 2 (Aug 17 - 20) | One rain day will be available each week on the Friday of that session.
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Check-in starts at 8:45 AM)
Location: Finn Complex | Mooney Fields in Southborough
Cost: $275 per player (10% sibling discount)

Clinic Focus Areas:

Base-running
Fielding (Outfield/Infield)
Catching
Throwing
Hitting
Live Game Play

Each day of the clinic is planned to cover a different aspect of the game. Players will be organized into groups and rotate through various skill stations, ensuring they stay active and gain comprehensive training.

Sample Daily Clinic Schedule:

Monday: Throwing Mechanics, Fielding Fundamentals, and Live Game Play
Tuesday: Fielding Skills, Hitting Mechanics, and Live Game Play
Wednesday: Infield/Outfield Drills, Positioning Drills, and Live Game Play
Thursday: Base-running Techniques, Hitting Fundamentals, and Live Game Play
