2026 Spring Girls Softball

The Algonquin Girls Softball Program is dedicated to creating a positive sporting and social environment, where the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, and fair play are core, with secondary importance placed on winning. Our goal is for each player to have fun, while gaining a rewarding softball experience and developing skills in fast-pitch softball.

Spring Season
The spring season begins late April and runs through mid-June. For 2026, we will be entering Seniors (U14), Majors (U12) and Minors (U10) in the Twin Valley League (TVL). Our Rookies (U8) will play teams from in town or neighboring towns. Sandlot (U6) will be run clinic style with inter team scrimmages to get the girls used to game play. This will help foster a more balanced and matched level of competitiveness.

There is potential we will not have a Seniors team and may have to combine Sandlot and Rookies based on the number of registered players.
