2026 Summer Softball

We’re excited to start planning Summer Softball for our 8U, 10U, and 12U players. Building on last year’s participation in the Twin Valley League (TVL), we’d also like to gauge interest in adding summer tournaments. ABSA Softball has entered tournaments in the past and found them to be a great experience for the girls—both competitive and fun. Because many events sell out quickly, we need your early input so we can coordinate entries.

Our plan:

Same roster for TVL and tournaments. The summer/tournament team will be one and the same for each age group.
Tournament targets (within ~1 hour of ABSA):
8U (DOB: 9/1/2016 - 8/31/2018): 1–2 tournaments
10U (DOB: 9/1/2014 - 8/31/2016): 3–4 tournaments
12U (DOB: 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2014): 1–2 tournaments
Season timing:
TVL Summer Season: End of June through end of July
Tournaments: Likely weekends from May through July (specific dates TBD)

Costs:

TVL Summer Fee:
8U: $150.00
10U: $200.00
12U: $200.00
Tournaments: One tournament fee is included in registration cost. Additional cost will apply to additional tournaments entered. Each team may choose to fundraise to offset expenses or have costs paid by parents; coaches/team reps will share details once interest is confirmed.

What we need from you now:

Please register your player’s interest (age level, availability, and willingness to participate in tournaments). Early responses help us reserve spots before events fill up.

**If more than enough interest per team, evaluations may be held for the team selection process. Team selection may also be dependent on player availability during the TVL Summer season.
