2026 Fall Baseball

Fall Season Overview

The Fall Ball program is a great opportunity for new or returning players to play more games with a lighter time commitment (compared to the Spring program). Games will be scheduled and mostly played within Southborough/Northborough (see additional details below for out of town games at older age ranges). Practices are more of a drop in/clinic style with likely two options provided per week.

The fall programs are meant to develop the players and start to prepare them for the next division in our program, if they are looking to advance in the next season. It also provides a great opportunity to get stronger in an existing division. Placement in a fall division does not guarantee the same placement in the spring. ABSA’s player agent and division coordinators reserve the right to move players between divisions for the fall season to ensure the appropriate safety and development experience for all those registered.

Baseball Ages (age as of 8/31/26):

Big Leagues (9-11 YO) - $160 (DOB: 9/1/14 - 8/31/17) - Follows Majors Rules

All current baseball 10 and 11 that played Majors in Spring

All baseball 11's that played AAA in the Spring, unless requesting an exception for safety reasons

All baseball 10's that played AAA in the Spring that would like to be considered for placement in Majors in Spring 2027

Baseball 9's that played in AAA as both an 8 and 9 year old that would like to be considered for placement in Majors in Spring 2027. Typically should be higher end of district team in terms of player talent.

Games take place on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings on a rotating basis. Teams are formed in such a way that it ok to miss games and we give players from other teams the opportunity to swap in to fill open spots. Rosters are kept small to maximize playing time. Most games in Northborough/Southborough with the potential for a few in neighboring towns.

Practices are clinic style and are not team based.

Minors (7-10 YO) - $160 - (DOB: 9/1/15 - 8/31/19) - Follows AAA Rules

All baseball 10's that do not wish to be considered for Big Leagues

Most baseball 9's (see exception above for Big Leagues)

All baseball 8's that have played or are looking to play in AAA in the Spring 2027 season.

Baseball 7's - Only those that have received a recommendation for AAA placement in the Spring 2027 season.

Practices are clinic style and are not team based.

Farm League (6-9 YO) - $100 - (DOB: 9/1/16 - 8/31/20) - Follows AA (combination kid and coach pitch)

Baseball 8's that do not wish to play AAA in Spring 2027 season

Most Baseball 7's (see exception above for Minors)

Baseball 6's that wish to be considered for AA in Spring 2027 season

Games scheduled during the day on weekends to avoid other majors sports schedules at this age group. Optional practice time during the week in a clinic style environment.

Sandlot (4-6 YO) - $65 - (DOB: 9/1/2017 - 8/31/2022) - Coach Pitch

Spring 2026 A players looking to continue in Single A or T-Ball Players looking to move to coach pitch.

This is a very informal league with no pre-determined teams. All players have the option to show up at scheduled times for clinic and game play.

We will need volunteers to coach, so please consider volunteering during the registration process.

Registration Deadline

Due to the need to assign teams and create game schedules for Big Leagues and Minors, spots will only be guaranteed through July 31, 2026. Registrations received after this point may be on a waitlist.
